Ash Priors JOG
Spring arrives?!
What a superb afternoon for a JOG, many other people thought that too! After a long period of wet and cold weather, it was wonderful to enjoy a bright and sunny event.
A baptism of fire?
After Dark events
These events are often billed as being not for the faint-hearted - especially for those who fear creatures of the night. Even if some of those are figments of the imagination - or are they?

MapRun, part 2
Our trailblazing MapRunners were released out onto the streets of Taunton on Thursday evening, dodging the evening crowds in town, running along riverside footpaths and zig zagging across meadow land lit up by their headtorches

Turf Hill Galoppen
SW League (7 of 9)
Martin Lewis looks to be in an almost unassailable position in his league, after finishing runner up in New Forest terrain two weeks' running. Rosie Wych got within five minutes of the international who won her course.
Fyne Court JOG
Snowdrops & mud
JOG at Fyne Court was not only well supported by families but also by a good number of adult runners. The venue is excellent with lots of interesting control sites, superb countryside and the chance of a hot chocolate at the cafe afterwards!
Dur Hill Galoppen
Training / analysis
We've all been there - having a great run, then feelings of confusion and possibly utter panic when the next control doesn't fall to plan! A leg on Steve Robertson's Blue course from Sunday appears to illustrate relocation, from attack point through to finding the control.

Club Night this evening
MapRun at Longrun
This evening (Thursday 20 Feb) from 18.30, there's another opportunity to try out MapRun, an app which uses GPS signals for controls. The course this time uses parkland and streets with a good path network.
Dur Hill Galoppen
SW League (6 of 9)
Martin Lewis consolidated his lead in the league by finishing runners up on the Light Green course in the New Forest at Dur Hill and Holmsley Walk. Bill Vigar was less than 8 minutes behind the winner on Short Green.
MapRun at Club Night
The future, now!
There's been a buzz about the MapRun app recently. Appropriately enough, you also get a buzz (or a bleep) whenever you find the virtual controls and its emitted by your smartphone. A dozen or so have tried it out already.
Forest League
Preview
In Ham Hill, we have an excellent venue for our penultimate Forest League event of the season. There is still everything to play for in each league, which has been unpredictable to date!
