Sarum Relay
3rd place in 30 degree heat
Chris Philip, Jeff Pakes and Martin Lewis were just three minutes behind the winning team from Sarum OC at Dinton Park on Sunday and 90s behind second placed Wessex Raiders. The Lewis family team also finished third in the Junior relay.

Chairman's Trophy
The trophy is award to the person deemed by our club chair Roger Craddock to have made an outstanding contribution over the season. Angela Modica was rewarded for her work with our junior group and significant contributions to our event programme.

Our Thursday evening fun sessions attract a good range of ages and abilities. The aim is to improve your fitness, develop your confidence in navigating and according to lead coach Tess Stone, your "love of wildness!"

The mercury may be rising - along with the bracken- but Devon OC can always be relied upon to put on a 'proper' forest event in mid summer. Eight members went to the action adventure park west of Exeter.

Greens win ad hoc relay
Bristol OK provided our three teams with a real mix of terrain on Sunday with woods, open areas and urban aspects to their annual relay. The Green family won their race and our team in the main competition were 4th, beating several Bristol teams.

Dartmoor
The two-wheeled version of our sport attracts a small but dedicated following, including a few from QO. If you fancy giving it a try, the first event of the season put on by SWEMBO on Sunday 24 June on Dartmoor.
Weekend review
Knightshayes, Gower & relays
Nearly 20 QO members were in action in three different places this weekend. Devon OC had an event in the stately grounds of a National Trust property, Swansea Bay OC hosted Midsummer on Gower and North Wilts OC put on the first summer relay.
