Planners' hints & tips

Steve Robertson is inviting members to an illustrated talk at Broomfield Village Hall. There's no need to pre-book your place- just turn up on the night if you can. "Half time" refreshments will be served.
Entitled Hints, Tips and Observations for Planners, the evening will be of interest to both existing and prospective planners/controllers (and others).
Steve will run through his planning/controlling check list illustrated with examples of issues at events where he has competed, planned or controlled which may, or may not, have been noticed by the competitors and how to avoid some of these during event preparation.
Steve says: "There is never a perfect orienteering event - inevitably compromises have to be made and issues (foreseen and unforeseen) to be dealt with."
