Chris Philip, Jeff Pakes and Martin Lewis were just three minutes behind the winning team from Sarum OC at Dinton Park on Sunday and 90s behind second placed Wessex Raiders. The Lewis family team also finished third in the Junior relay.

With our senior team Status QO needing to run four courses twice between them, Chris simplified the running order through an elegant flow diagram on the back of an envelope! The plan was executed near enough to perfection, despite it involving all three pushing themselves to the limit in the midday heat. It wasn't enough to win, but we took consolation though in that the two teams above us mispunched. Rather than being disqualified though, these days mispunches seem to be penalised by time penalties.
