11 May saw the official opening of the COACH building in French Weir Park, Taunton. COACH stands for Centre for Outdoor Activity and Community Hub. QO have been using the COACH building for the base for their Club Night Training sessions for a few months now.

Congratulations to Bill Vigar M80 for finishing runner up in the British Orienteering Championships in the Lake District. Runners had to master the challenges posed by the mixed forest and open areas of High Dam posed but were blessed with fine weather.

Forty QO and JOG members headed to an event outside our county this Sunday! There was an abundance of action: the junior team event at Savernake, an urban race at Amesbury and a Devon League event within the National Trust grounds at Knightshayes.
