Glorious weather on Dartmoor
QO collaborated with Devon OC for an excellent double-header. Meanwhile the SW League series continued. Plus results from the second regional league event of the season and the Euro City League in Florence
Training with Tess
Summer 2016 coaching
Light summer evenings have seen various QO members enjoying coaching provided by Tess Stone from Devon orienteering club. Initially we were dodging the dog walkers at Longrun Meadows and latterly we’ve been startling the deer at Castle Neroche.

JK 2016 in Yorkshire
Review
Several QO members travelled up to North Yorkshire for the 50th anniversary JK. Starting with an urban race at Leeds University, the action continued with two classic distance events at Wass Forest and Kilnsey Moor. The weekend closed with the relays at Storthes Hall.
JOG report Spring 2016
An eventful term had its challenges starting with a stolen banner and continuing with Storm Imogen! Interest was added to the events programme with the addition of two new areas as well as a map extension to Fyne Court, plus seniors increasingly turned to JOG for some training. As announced in my last post, my battery has run down and I have retired from active competition. However at the Taunton town event someone came up and offered me access to a new battery charger, which proves that someone reads Quonicle!
