New members
A warm welcome to...

Club Championships 2020
A quick review
On Sunday, QO members descended on Longrun Meadow and French Weir Park for the annual club championships.
Virtual AGM
QO members should by now have received an email explaining about the Virtual AGM. If you haven't got it, please check your spam/junk folders as it contains your voting 'slip'.
New Email Service
Over the next couple of weeks we will be moving across to using a new email provider.

A Summer Challenge for You
Get your shoes back out, competitive orienteering is allowed again from the 1st August!
Our first event is the Quantocks Challenge, a long score course covering most of the northern Quantocks.
New Permanent Courses
We have a range of new permanent courses available, as well as a revamp of the information about older ones. Several have just for fun leagues so you can compare your times or scores to other. Check out our Permanent Orienteering Courses page for more information...
Ted Heath
The club is sad to announce that Ted passed away on Thursday (4 June). Many of our members will remember Ted and his contributions as an active member of the club and the committee for many years, as well as his and wife Lennox’s vibrant personalities, reports Roger Craddock.
Latest Planning Videos Released
We have just produced a series of videos to help planners produce GPS-punched (aka virtual) orienteering courses. It is likely that this kind of event will be the first to be allowed to restart as we work our way out of lockdown.
Fyne Court
Permanent course: open again
As we come out of lockdown, this course is now open again for individuals and family groups. To make it more of a challenge, you can submit your time via an online form via the page here - Fyne Court POC
Lockdown Team event
A QO team finished ahead of two teams from 2018 Compass Sport Cup winners South Yorkshire Orienteers (SYO) in the Lockdown Team weekend. We may have only been using mice, PCs and phones, but any win over one of the UK's mightiest clubs counts, doesn't it?
