On the bonfire night evening Gavin Clegg was competing in the Vir’É Nocturne – Vir’King Raid, held in Vire Normandy. Part urban, part countryside and part forest of which some bits were that steep that knotted ropes had been laid out to give you something to haul yourself up with!!

Several QO members travelled up to North Yorkshire for the 50th anniversary JK. Starting with an urban race at Leeds University, the action continued with two classic distance events at Wass Forest and Kilnsey Moor. The weekend closed with the relays at Storthes Hall.
