Each QO member tops their age category in Dartmoor race while Gavin holds off some stiff competition to win his class in the Great Malvern urban race
Sunday was the Devon event on Holne Moor. An excellent technical area and as it is less than an hours drive from Taunton, a disappointing turnout of only 5 from QO. However, all came first! On Brown; Will Kromhout was 4th, 1st M40. On Blue; Gavin 3rd, 1st M60. On Green; Steve Robertson 2nd, 1st M60 and Tony Hext 5th, 1st M65. On Lt Green; Julia Robertson 12th, 1st W60. Well done to them all.
Closer to home, Saturday saw the 3rd JOG of the season held at Kings College, Taunton.
A little further afield Gavin Clegg was competing at Great Malvern in the UK Urban League. Winning the Mens Super Vet course and in the process beating the five top contenders for the league title. Now lying second in the UK League with three races to go Gavin can only triumph if he wins all the last three races – so no pressure there then!
