Its great that so many families are managing to get out and go orienteering, despite the recent weather.
Just this morning I was in Longrun Meadow with my daughters trying out their bikes (I was also checking controls for our SEGOL event) and one of them pointed out some people with an orienteering map. It turned out to be the Tilleys doing the permanent score course.
And we received this email from the Macphersons and Toomers:
"We revisited Vivary today. Martha took Bea round the Hare course, Will and Freddie did the Badger together (with my phone so it shows as me), Emily got a good time on the Fox and Ray and I both had a second go at the Fox. It rained but we finished up wet and happy playing in the park. We so appreciate being able to do this! We are planning to go to Taunton School on Monday morning."
Don't forget that we still have some great events coming up in our Junior Orienteering Group season, and also plenty of permanent courses to try.
