Course Information

We cater from beginners through to a good club standard. We call the courses Hare, Squirrel, Badger, and Fox and these offer a clear progression in the difficulty level. The Fox course usually incorporates adult training exercises.

JOG courses explained

Course lengths are short due to the area being small but they will be fun!

  • Hare 1km
  • Squirrel 1.3km
  • Badger 2km
  • Fox 3km

An optional activity is planned for all the courses which involves the competitors drawing their course on a map. A master map will be available to copy onto individual maps.

The river is red flagged in the risk assessment so to avoid it the controls are on the path or vegetation boundary. The Fox course is a mix of urban and woods so therefore the U16’s will have to accompanied. There is undergrowth in the wooded areas so full leg covering is advised as the small trails are a little over grown.

Entry Details

  • Entry - £2 per person pre-entered or £3 per person on the day
  • Dibber hire - Free (but if lost you would be liable for the replacement cost of £30)

Pre-enter

Please consider buying a pack of pre-entry credits in advance. This costs you the same but saves the club a lot in credit card fees.
