Our Junior Orienteering Group (JOG) runs during term-times holding low-key weekly events aimed at juniors, families and all those looking to improve or to train.

Code of Conduct

Please make sure you have read and comply with the Participant Code Of Conduct and Parent Code Of Conduct.

Directions / Parking

Parking is on the road alongside the wood to which you are heading.

Parking can be tight, so aim to get there in plenty of time.


Course Information

JOG courses explained

Cater from beginners through to a good club standard. We call the courses Hare, Squirrel, Badger and Fox and these offer a clear progression in the difficulty level. Fox course incorporates adult training exercises.

Entry Details

£1 per head for everyone (whether a member or not).

Second runs are an additional £1.

Registration & Start Times

Courses open at 2pm and close at 3pm. Please try to arrive before 2.30pm for your run. We will start bringing controls in at 3.30pm so if you are still out, please make your way back to registration.

Help required

Pete Shirvington has planned the courses, he won’t be there at the end as he’s going to the Caddihoe Chase so if you are not rushing away perhaps you could help to collect in a few controls at the end?

Gear

Make sure you wear full leg and arm cover to keep the ticks away.

Attractions & facilities nearby

Fyne Court NT is open dawn to dusk, has free admission and toilets and a tea room open till 3pm.

Always check times on their websites before travelling though.
