Thank you to everyone who helped out, in any capacity, at Roughmoor and to all the competitors. Everyone arrived back in good spirits and many had found some mud on the way round!

- Squirrel (Yellow) 2.2Km and 15m climb (Map Scale 1:3000)
- Badger (Orange) 3.1Km and 15m climb (Map Scale 1:5000)
- Fox 5.1Km MapRun (for ages 16 and over)
At the end of JOG, we are planning to hold a short presentation for award winners from the Autumn Term JOG league.

Our Junior Orienteering Group (JOG) runs during term times holding low-key weekly events aimed at juniors, families, and all those looking to improve or train. Newcomers are always welcome.

Directions / Parking
Directions/parking in Taunton West Park from Silk Mills Road to Taunton West Park and Ride TA1 5AA and W3W /// slap.sugars.bright. Park at far Eastern end of car park behind building (free parking). Height limit to car park 3.5m. Nearest toilets open on Saturdays at Tesco Superstore (TA1 4AB) opposite side of Longrun Meadow by French Weir or at Cross Keys Public House (TA2 6NR)
Course Information
We cater from beginners through to a good club standard. We call the courses Hare, Squirrel, Badger, and Fox and these offer a clear progression in the difficulty level. The Fox course usually incorporates adult training exercises.
Hare to Badger usually uses PIN punching. Fox is sometimes PIN punching and sometimes GPS punching. The latter is also automatically uploaded to Routegadget.

- Entry - £3 per person pre-entered or £4 per person on the day
- Dibber hire - Free (but if lost you would be liable for the replacement cost of £30)

Please consider buying a pack of pre-entry credits in advance. This costs you the same but saves the club a lot in credit card fees.
