Write up from organisers Roger and Judy:
The weather was drizzly and rather miserable so we were delighted that so many families and QO adults decided to brave the elements and enjoy the courses.
There were 21 competitors of which 4 had second runs. We welcomed three new families all of which returned mud splattered but smiling.
Being an enclosed site King’s College is an excellent venue for beginners and, with the surrounding urban area mapped, it provides a good challenge for more experienced orienteers, so many thanks to Angela Modica for planning and Spencer for controlling. Thanks to Sheila for her help with registration. A successful and enjoyable time was had by all.
