Directions / Parking


what3words: baths.bulldozer.relief We won’t put an O sign from the A358 BUT if you are going out of Taunton turn right to follow the brown Mount Somerset Hotel signs, go past the hotel and follow the O sign at the next junction.


It might be a little “tight”.

Limited parking is available in the public car park adjacent to registration.

If you have to park on the road, please pull onto the verge as far as you can.

Course Information

Cater from beginners through to a good club standard. We call the courses Hare, Squirrel, Badger and Fox and these offer a clear progression in the difficulty level. Fox course incorporates adult training exercises.

Henlade Hill might be a new area for some of you but if you are doing the Fox you will know the area intimately by the end of it!

£1 per head for everyone (whether a member or not).

An additional £1 for second runs (NEW, Feb '20)

Registration & Start Times

Courses open at 2pm and close at 3pm. Please try to arrive before 2.30pm for your run. We will start bringing controls in at 3.30pm so if you are still out, please make your way back to registration.

Terrain Description

Mixture of wood and runnable open areas. Compact area bounded by hedges, fences and earth walls.

Skills badges

Roger and Judy will be available to see if anyone is ready to be assessed for a skills badge.

We have an excellent series of articles.

Why not read one or two before Saturday? You could put your new knowledge to the test while running your course.
