Comments from planner Ray:
The mist and low cloud of the preceding days and hours miraculously lifted just in time for the Street MapRun event. There was a strong contingent from BOK ready to give our QO talent a run for their money. The conditions stayed dry and people came back smiling. Everything seemed to go as expected with only a few “non-beeps” that were easily corrected. Results favored the QO home team taking the top 3 spots on Long and top 2 on Short. It was only a short walk to the warmth of the pub and the world was put to rights over food and beer.

Course Information
Nearly all routes will be on pavements and minor roads. There’s a couple of controls on grass but generally these don’t get too muddy so normal running shoes should be fine.
Control sites are on both sides of the A39 (Out of Bounds) which should only be crossed using the 2 underpasses prominently marked on the map.
Toilets at the Sainsbury’s superstore on the A39, or for customers at the Lantokay (Wetherspoons) which adjoins the start/finish car park. Meet in the Lantokay after your run to swap “if only” stories.
Ray says: this is my first event at MapRun administration as well as planning/organising so please go easy on me.
