This small but perfectly formed hilltop wood is still a relatively new area for orienteering and plenty people came and tried it out.

Judy Craddock reports.

The Spring JOG term started with a gloriously sunny day tempered by a light wind at Willett Hill. Again Mike Andersen proved to be well prepared and well organised, he had planned interesting and challenging courses in an area still restricted by abundant bracket and brambles. We had 12 adults running his tricky Fox "windows" course; it’s good to see that QO members are increasingly using this as an opportunity to train and hone their skills.

Everyone enjoyed meeting again and we welcomed two potential new members in the M21 bracket!!!!! Is this a record for QO?
