About 20 QO members ran at Devon's lastest league event on physically tough heathland towards the south coast near Exmouth. Ollie Rant was top QO overall, Rosie Wych won Light Green and Ollie Lewis and Al Hemmings were runners up on their courses.
Chris Denton was 3rd on Short Green, while on Green Angela Modica pipped husband Spencer to 4th place. Phil Sorrell was the leading QO on the Blue course.
Brown was won by the Adam Fieldhouse, local to the Quantocks but running in Loughborough University OC colours.
Contender for result of the day also? Karen Lewis took a huge scalp. She beat a UK top 1000 runner on Green and finished more than half an hour in front of the last placed finisher.
