In late July, we put on a maze course for school children who are keen on athletics during this annual week-long sporting event run by a well-established Somerset-based athletics club

Every year Taunton AC runs a week-long Startrack athletics programme of running, jumping and throwing. Startrack is a superb programme that helps teachers, coaches and sports leaders to provide year-round coaching and training opportunities after school, during holiday periods and at weekends. The scheme is British Athletics' flagship grassroots athletics programme, aiming to give 8 to 15 year olds real athletics experiences and helping them to develop skills. The skills that are involved in the week are running, jumping, throwing... and orienteering"
