This is a flood plain and it lived up to its name with water over the ankles to the first control on some courses, however, as orienteers know, once your feet are wet nothing afterwards is a problem.

What a great JOG on a waterlogged Roughmoor and Longrun Meadow! Well done Jenny for planning courses which used the area to advantage and tested most JOGgers.
We were amazed at the support, perhaps everyone welcomed a relatively dry afternoon to get out and have some fun. Again it was good to see so many adults competing on the Fox and Badger courses.
