Sign up for a team

Has our recent Compass Sport Cup heat whetted your appetite for the "big time"?

The JK relays are another prestigious event and take place about two hours away in Hampshire on Easter Monday (22 April).

Please contact Steve Robertson by Wednesday (27 March) if you're interested in running.

All abilities catered for, from Yellow course and upwards.

Steve Robertson has volunteered to organise team entries. All members are invited to run - see Steve's message below, which has already been emailed to all those already signed up for the "individual" days.

Invitation to the relays, Minley, Hampshire

How do you feel about being part of a relay team?

I have been delegated by our club captain (Chris H) to gauge the degree of interest and organise team entries.

The potential relay categories are:

A - JK Trophy
B - Women's Trophy
C - Men's Short
D - Women's Short
E - Senior Men (M120+)
F - Senior Women (W120+)
G - Veteran Men (M165+)
H - Veteran Women (W165+)
J - Ultra Veterans (M/W210+)
K - Intermediary Men (M48-)
L - Intermediary Women (W48-)
M - Junior Relay (M/W40-)
N - Mini Relay
P - Mixed Ad Hoc

All teams have three members and QO will subsidise the entry fees by up to 50% which then results in a cost of £12 per Senior and £6 per Junior team member.

The classes are based on the total age classes of the team members
therefore, in theory, although unlikely, a Veterans Men team could be 1x
M85, 1x M70 and 1x M10 !

The closing date for relay entries is Sunday 31 March.

If you are interested please email me, at the latest, by next Wednesday, 27 March and I will see if we have sufficient numbers and for which classes. In the worst case it may be a Mixed Ad Hoc team(s).

I will email you on Thursday 28 March with what is possible based on the replies, ask you to confirm you are OK with the proposal and then I'll will place the entries in Fabian4 on Friday 29/Saturday 30.

- Steve Robertson
