Event safety workshop
It is now mandatory for anyone taking the role of planner, organiser or controller to have had attended an event safety workshop.
These workshops typically discuss the safety issues surrounding our events, and what planners, organisers and controllers can do about them. Depending on the exact format, you might expect to discuss:
- how to plan acceptably safe courses
- how to organise with safety in mind
- how to deal with emergencies
- what the rules and guidelines say
