Andy and Rosie Wych had set up several ‘stations’ for a hands-on session taking them through the SI AutoDownload software used at events and then into the system of ‘crossover’ connections and DOS commands to enable a network of machines to ‘talk’ to each other.
We were introduced to the new version of AutoDownload that we will have to adopt in the near future and the ‘contactless dibbers’ that QO have purchased for use at selected events this year.
Many thanks to Andy (and Sport England) for providing the course. Hopefully he will have a follow-up session next term after we have all had some practical experience!
