Karen Lewis took Oliver and Annabelle to Bristol OK's coaching session at Ashton Court on Saturday (4 January) and it sounds like they all got a lot out of the morning.

Karen reports...

I took Annabelle and Oliver to the coaching day at Ashton Court today and thought I would give feedback.

What a great morning we had - weather perfect and Ashton Court is a super setting for orienteering training.

Annabelle and Oliver got a lot out of a morning with Jamie and Jim Hayward and Jackie Hallett.

They had planned a variety of short courses and the trainees went out in small groups. They were all great with the kids, they kept it fun but were constantly giving them pointers and checking their knowledge.

Very impressive teaching skills. Oliver commented about how much fun he had and that it only felt like we had been there an hour.

The session cost £5 per head and parking for the day was £1.20.

We had to stop and photograph the deer on the way out.
