Cothelstone QOFL1 Results - Organisers Comments:

When Judy and I visited the area on the previous day to strim the paths to the start/finish we doubted whether the field would cope with cars parking –especially as it was full of cattle!  Thanks to Hugh Warmington of Cothelstone Estate who cleared them and to Jim Pearson who carefully guided the cars through the gate we were able to use this very convenient area for assembly.  A donation of £50 was made to the Cothelstone PCC in appreciation.

This was the first QOFL in which we used our new electronic punching system, which enabled Bill Vigar to have an undisturbed run for a change.  Andy Rimes steered the download team as well as taking over the role of controller from Rosie Wych called away at the last minute.  My apologies for the shortage of maps on the Blue course and thanks to those who allowed theirs to be recycled.  Let me know if you need a replacement.
My thanks to all the helpers in our small ‘team’.  Especially to the new JOG families, Hollingsworths, Davidsons and Maynards who juggled their children to fit in their ‘jobs’

Our next QOFL is on 6th Dec at Windown & Broomfield Hill.  Contact Ted Heath or the website for more details.
