Event Production

These pages will provide the information needed to put on an event. They include the rules to be followed, as well as advice and guidance from those who have done the jobs successfully before.

Our activities and events only run with the support of the membership. All those volunteering to take on these roles deserve all the support we can give them.

All members are expected to assist in some capacity, and a rota of teams is managed for helping at QOFLs.

The relevant policies, notably Safety and Safeguarding, should be studied to ensure everything is covered.

All officials should also read and act upon our Covid Safe Operating Procedures document. It breaks down the measures by role, and sections can be printed and given to volunteers to ensure they are clear on their responsibilities.

Timings

It can't be stressed enough how important it is to get things done in plenty of time. If certain things aren't submitted in time, it can mean that we don't get permission to hold the event.
