Directions / Parking
Please take care turning into the area as traffic travels fast along this road.
We will sign the entrance with the JOG banner as it’s hard to put signs out along the road.
Cater from beginners through to a good club standard. We call the courses Hare, Squirrel, Badger and Fox and these offer a clear progression in the difficulty level. Fox course incorporates adult training exercises.
Planner Tom Hasler has designed a special schematic/London underground map of all the line features to present a greater challenge!
Pictured further above is Tom’s map. If you would like to have a go email email@example.com and we’ll make sure there’s a map for you.
£1 per head for everyone (whether a member or not).
You need to join a recognised orienteering club once you have participated at three or more events. This is a requirement of our insurers. Read about joining QO here.
Registration & Start Times
Courses open at 2pm and close at 3pm. Please try to arrive before 2.30pm for your run.
This is an interesting area within the larger area of Orchard Portman Wood.
Our neighbours Devon OC are hosting an event at River Dart Country Park near Ashburton. It's a mixture of steep sided runnable woodland and riverside parkland.
Yvette Baker Trophy
All JOGgers are invited to take part in an exciting day out for the club in Wiltshire in a fortnight's time (Sunday 7 April).
A great way to finish the JOG year- Judy Craddock
Juniors' runs count towards the Trophy while accompanying parents if they wish can take part in the South West League event at the same time in the same place!
If you haven't received our captain Chris Hasler's email already, please get in touch with him (see contacts page).
