Comments from Karen the organiser:
Today’s event was held at Staple Hill. 41 people took part and the results will be published shortly.
We were blessed to have glorious sunshine for the duration of the event and it was a pleasure to be the organiser - just being out in the open-air basking. Definitely no need for the tent today!
The courses proved challenging as you can see from the timings. However, just about all the competitors came back with smiles on their faces. It was quite wet and muddy under foot but still thoroughly enjoyable.
Well done to all those that took part and completed the course. There were a lot of you that got value for money today. Just enjoying the sunshine.
Our thanks go to Sue for planning and Ray for controlling today’s events.
Also, a big thank you to all those that helped – Mark and Finley Goddard, Sheila Braine, Linda Mudd, Annabelle Lewis and the Moys family.
Thanks to Judy for taking the photos.
