Directions / Parking
Parking is limited so it would be best to use the Silk Mills Park and Ride opposite. Juniors will need to be escorted across the A3065 Silk Mills Road.
Course Information
The usual hare, squirrel and badger courses in this lovely small wooded park.
Junior courses (Badger, Squirrel and Hare) are within the Netherclay woods which is flanked by the River Tone. Controls are placed away from the bank. The footbridge over the river is closed and out of bounds.
Fox is an Odds and Evens 40 min score course. There are 18 controls with either odd or even codes on the kites. Visit either odds or evens first then switch across to the other at any time. You can only switch once. Points for each control are shown in the descriptions on the map and the code is an indicator eg 141 = 40pts and 118 = 15pts. Penalty 15 points per minute late. Punch in the correct box on your card, eg on the map for control 11 -122, this has code 122 (Even and worth 20 points) you need to punch box 11.
