South West summer relays Series Info

Part of a series of relays held every summer.

The relays are normally held throughout June and July, often on consecutive Sundays. Links:

All South West clubs are eligible to compete for the Chairman's Trophy. It's awarded to the club with the best record over the seven relays.

Directions / Parking

We're meeting at the COACH building in French Weir Park and using the Link Room, which faces directly onto the park.

There are a few council run car parks to the east, all around 10 minutes' walk.

There is only limited on street parking on the surrounding streets to the north.

Course Information

TBA. Courses might be available for individuals to run too.

Entry Details

Clubs can enter multiple teams. People can also enter teams without representing a club.

Terrain Description

Park with adjoining country park, bounded by the River Tone. The country park is largely flat and has good path network and scattered copses.


The 2019 AGM will take place in the COACH building after the race.


Certificates in recognition of achievements in the Spring term will be awarded in the Link Room afterwards.
