Please make sure you have read and comply with the Participant Code Of Conduct and, if applicable, the Parent Code Of Conduct. in particular, note that while we will be taking every precaution at our end, it is up to all participants to ensure they act within COVID-19 guidance.
We will be using MapRun6 for this event to minimise the need for contact. QR code punching will be turned on due to areas of poor GPS signal. Those on white and yellow are possibly better off using QR punching as the primary method.
The MapRun event files will be in UK - Somerset - Ham Hill 2021. You should download your chosen course before you leave home on the morning of the event.
For white and yellow courses, the PIN will be printed on the map which you collect before the start. For the longer courses, you will be given the PIN as you approach the start but your map will be collected just after, like in a normal event.
Public carparks on top of Ham Hill. We have kindly been allowed to cone off two for our exclusive use - look out for the signs...
NB: Please don't use the Prince of Wales pub carpark.
The White and Yellow start is 5 minutes to the north of the car parks. The remaining courses (Orange to Blue) start 2 minutes to the south of the car parks. Any juniors running courses with starts to the south will need to be taken to the start as it involves crossing the road.
The will be the normal range of colour-coded courses from White up to Blue.
Punching will be by MapRun6. QR codes will be on control kites in case GPS reception is poor.
A road crossing on the course will be marshalled.
