Matthew Owen's maximum score was achieved with more than eight minutes to spare of the allotted hour. Spencer in 4th tied on points with last year's winner Robin Carter of Devon, who was placed 5th by virtue of Spencer being 55 seconds quicker. Robin and Alison Reynolds, also of Devon, showed almost perfect timing, a good skill to have in a score event. Each used up all but 30 seconds of their time limit.
