At the races
Urban win for Andrew
It was the bank holiday weekend, so where better to spend it than at the races? Epsom anyone? That's where urban specialist Andrew Page headed, in the first of two runs in the South East. He now has his nose in front in the Southern England urban league.
Andrew was a furlong or two behind the winner at Epsom, running well apart from a stumble at the 9th fence, er, control. He had an opportunity to bounce back the next day, which he duly took, winning at Abingdon.
With his nearest rival not taking part, Andrew secured the vital win by two minutes over the runner-up and got round his course in under nine minutes. The girls in his age class were also running the same course. They included newly crowned South West champion Ella May Rush of Bristol OK, who got within a minute of Andrew's time.
