Next up: Lydeard Hill
After the back-to-back outings to St Audries and Ashclyst Forest, our league season is now halfway through. The next race is back on the Quantocks on Sunday 26 January, using the open hilltop and steep coombe sides of Lydeard and Middle Hills.
The annual regional league for the south west, running from September to Spring based on scores from a series of colour-coded events.
Each of the nine SWOA member clubs take it turn to host one of these events, sometimes referred to by their Swedish name of 'Galoppen'.
A flat track, non-navigational alternative to O, held weekly throughout the county. Popular with a fair proportion of our membership, including some of our keenest. There are several Parkruns held throughout Somerset, listed below together with club leaderboards.
Our most popular course. Consisting of older but still very capable runners moving down a notch, newer entrants into the sport still on their way up, older teenagers and those for whom a Blue course would just be too long!
