Juniors at Compass Sport Trophy

Several of our juniors put in excellent performances at the Compass Sport Trophy at Moors Valley Country Park, near Ringwood on Sunday 12 March. We also had a good number of younger juniors doing well in the White and Yellow courses.

Andrew and Heather continued their excellent seasons so far with maximum points of 100 each for the team on Sunday. Heather got round the Orange course inside the half hour with Andrew only a couple of minutes behind. Sam was only a few minutes behind Andrew.

Ben won his Yellow course with an impressive 16 minute time. On White, there were five QO members within the top seven positions, with Will winning from Freddie. Sister Martha was a minute behind Freddie and Oliver a half a minute behind Martha.

A cluster of our older juniors tackled the Green course against some very tough opposition. It is to their credit and particularly those 'running up' from their usual course, that they persevered and completed their courses, especially in unfamiliar surrounds.
