Bristol OK is offering two day-long training courses in July and August, one in Winscombe (Mendips).

In Bristol in October, they will hold an advanced planners course.

Both BOK's First Aid courses are open to other clubs and one is relatively local for many members, the courses will have an orienteering focus, but are also suitable for any one who does outdoor activities. Each course will be eight hours long.

The first course is in the Mendip area on Saturday 6 July. It's at Winscombe Cricket club, timing TBA, but most likely 9am to 5pm

The second course is Saturday 3 August, venue TBA, but will be Bristol based. Timings will be the same as for Winscombe.

Both will be run by Frenchay First Aid. Price will be £40 for non-BOK members. The course will be certificated and the details passed onto BOF for their records.

A flyer will be available in due course.

Carol Iddles is organising the sessions.

Planner's course

Bristol OK's planning course will be aimed at those wishing to plan at Regional/National level.

It will be held on Saturday 5 October at Henbury Village Hall, Bristol, BS10 7QG.

Mark Saunders will lead, and Charles Daniel will probably assist.
