All orienteering suspended

British Orienteering ruling
The national governing body BOF have announced that all orienteering activity must cease with immediate effect. This effectively means our 2019/20 season has ended and the earliest potential fixtures we could have would be in late summer/ early autumn.

SW League
Oliver Lewis was QO's star of the day at Blackwater where he beat 14 others to win the Orange course. Al Hemmings won the White. On an unexpectedly lovely bright, dry day, about 15 QO enjoyed this runnable mixture of wood and heathland.

What the club offers
At Quantock Orienteers, we put on a variety of events through the year. Hopefully there is something for everyone. Here is a quick guide.
Stock Hill
SW League
Pock-marked as it is by the lead mining of yesteryear, this area of technical woodland up on the Mendips always delights and challenges and there were several excellent runs had amongst the 25 QO's who competed there on Sunday.
Who's been where?

Glorious winter sunshine graced North Glos OC's 50th anniversary weekend and a fair number of QO's took part.
Results: Lightning Tree (Sun), Knockalls (Sat)
Also featuring: results from other events attended by QO members this year
Woodbury Common

Devon League
About 20 QO members ran at Devon's lastest league event on physically tough heathland towards the south coast near Exmouth. Ollie Rant was top QO overall, Rosie Wych won Light Green and Ollie Lewis and Al Hemmings were runners up on their courses.
