Coaches Tess Stone and Vikki Page are making excellent use of Longrun Meadow at it's 'Cathedral' on Thursday night (2 March), giving us a thorough workout each time. Orienteering training in the dark for all age groups- who would have thought it possible?

Tess warmed us up with a very competitive game, then took us through some dynamic stretches before the main action. Using the Willow Cathedral as base, we broke up into pairs to run some simple relay legs from and around the reedy structure.

Afterwards back at the COACH centre, chair Roger Craddock produced the map of Moors Valley Country Park on the big screen. This gave us an insight of the type of terrain we will be running on at the Compass Sport Trophy heat this Sunday. It's the regional heat of the national inter-club competition and nearly 30 will be running for us.
